WoW Patch 4.3 Dragon Soul Release Nov. 29th
World of Warcraft’s next Patch, Patch 4.3, will most likely be released this coming Tuesday, November 29th. Bashiok, a community manager, said on his twitter:
“Season 10 ending November 29. Interpret that as you will. #indirectpatchreleasedateannouncements”
Some players argue that PvP seasons generally end 1-2 weeks before a patch is released, but that has actually changed in recent patches. Remember that with Dragon Souls we’ll be getting three brand new 5-player dungeons, a new raid, tons of WoW gear, the Raid Finder Tool, Transmogrification, Void Storage, and of course tons of class changes.
An interesting, and rare occurrence is taking place as well, in the Troll 5-man heroic dungeons. Originally, players needed to defeat at least 5 bosses to finish the instance; four Troll bosses, and then the final boss. Now, to quicken the process, players must only kill two of any of the four Troll bosses before squaring off with the final boss.
Another large scale change is taking place in Outlands and Northrend. These areas have been tweaked slightly to refine the flow of quests. Quest givers are now in the dungeon entrances (like old-world dungeons in Cataclysm), and many group quests have been changed so they can be completed solo. Also, the amount of experience needed between levels 71 and 80 has been reduced by 33%, once again lowering the total amount of experience points needed to reach max level.
