    Patch 4.1 is now Patch 4.1.0A. There were a few issues that needed correcting that couldn’t be solved with a simple hotfix.     Blizzard Insider: Interview with Scott Mercer

    Blizzard has posted an official interview with their Lead Encounter Designer, Scott Mercer. He’s here to talk about the new dungeons in Patch 4.1: Rise of the Zandalari. Many questions were answered, such as changes to boss fights, changes to trash mobs and the new loot. Scott has also mentioned that there are plans to revamp other old world dungeons like fan-favorites Scarlet Monastery, Blackrock Depths, and Blackrock Spire. Read the official interview here.

    Patch 4.1 will be introducing the Guild Finder tool.  The Guild Finder will act as a sort of in-game bulletin board for players looking for a guild. Players will be able to set a number of criteria, like what kind of content they are interested in (PvP, Questing, Raids, etc.), what their class role is, and when they are available.     Here’s what to look forward to concerning classes. All non-damaging interrupts off the global cooldown will now always hit the target. Death Knight’s “Raise Ally” now is a battle resurrection spell. Druid’s “Enrage” no longer increases physical damage taken. Hunter’s pet happiness mechanic has been removed.   • Ask the Devs #5: Achievements

    The 5th installment of “As the Devs” has been released and is on Achievements in World of Warcraft. The big question is “When will achievements finally be account-wide?” The short answer is that it’s something they are looking in to but are having trouble integrating with their current systems.     World of Warcraft forum Community Manager Zarhym has stated in a forum post that Warlocks will be getting more options to customize their pets in the future. For a long time players have found it unfair that Hunters (the only other fully pet based class) could choose any pet skin they wish, while Warlocks were forced into one.
